Grace Mavromatis, LCSW
I support deep feelers in their 20s and 30s who are overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by a traumatic experience. Anxiety and trauma can make everyday life feel exhausting. You may find it hard to relax in moments of quiet, even when you’re utterly drained. If you’re a highly sensitive person, you may become easily overstimulated, absorb the emotions of those around you, or feel on edge more often. While anxiety and trauma can affect anyone, highly sensitive people often experience them more intensely. The good news is, it’s possible to feel more calm and grounded.
My approach is warm, holistic, and conversational. I use EMDR and talk therapy to help process past experiences, build greater acceptance, and feel more at peace in the present. I respect that you are the expert of your own life, and view counseling as a space to untangle the root of your struggles while offering supportive tools when needed.
Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and it often takes time to build trust. Whatever your story, my goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for healing, reflection, and growth. If this resonates with you, please reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit, or visit my website to learn more.
